How many bundles do I need for a sew in?
Well, the answer varies based on the hairstyle, cut, length and the size and shape of your head. Usually three bundles for my primary sew-in, that’s typically the magic number for your average sew in.
However, some people prefer two bundles for a more natural look. Bobs are a trendy style, and they only consist of two bundles typically.
With three bundles anywhere from 12″ – 20″ your weave will be full, flowy, and glamorous. If your sew-in is starting with lengths over 22″ you might want to consider four bundles.
A bundle weigh about 2.0 oz to 4.0 oz. Although, all of our bundles weigh the same amount a 10-inch bundle will always be fuller than an 18 inch if doing a sew-in.
A 10″ bundle has a longer weft when compared to a 20″ bundle. The weight of the hair in a 10″ bundle is wide and long on a 20″ bundle.
The reason you might need 5 bundles when using lengths in the 28″ – 32″ range is that the hair weight is going all the way down your back and not sewn around your head. You will need the additional bundles to give a full appearance when using really long lengths.
How many bundles do you need with a frontal?
Hair length past 14 or 18 inches, I would suggest you get 3 bundles, so from a 20 inch, 22 inches to about 24inch, 26inch, 4 bundles will suffice.
